Itinerary
Day 1 –
Your Italian adventure begins with a warm welcome in Rome. After meeting up outside Terminal 3 at the airport, you’re whisked away to your charming accommodation near Piazza Cavour, perfectly nestled by the Vatican and Castel SantโAngelo.
Once settled in, the city begins to unfold before you with a relaxed walking tour, exploring the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, the buzz of Piazza Venezia, the timeless awe of the Colosseum, and the soul of Trastevere.
As evening sets in, you gather with your group for a hearty Roman neighborhood dinner in a cozy trattoria in Prati. The night caps off with a peaceful walk to Saint Peterโs Square, just in time for a group photo in the glowing light of the Vatican.
Day 2 –
You leave the city behind and head into the tranquil heart of Lazio. Upon arriving at Relais Villa DโAssio, your peaceful countryside retreat, a wild swim in Lake Piediluco invites you to fully unwind.
Afterward, a gentle walk through forest trails brings us to cascading waterfalls with a slow lunch in a picnic style with delicious local flavors and a laid-back rhythm. The afternoon is yours to rest and soak in the calm of your surroundings.
As the sun dips, we gather for our first agriturismo dinner at Antica Nord Est, a warm, rustic feast of truffle-topped pizzas and slow food made with love.
Day 3 –
We begin with gentle breathwork by the river โ a chance to slow down, stretch out, and ground into the day. Later, we explore the ancient town of Rieti before a short, spring-fed swim in the Velino River.
After a relaxed farm-to-table lunch, we head up Monte Tancia for a gentle hike and a barbecue dinner under the stars, a magical evening of good food, laughter, and stargazing with Luca, surrounded by crisp mountain air.
Day 4 –
Today we return to Lake Piediluco for our signature open water swim โ choose your distance: 5km, 2.5km, or shorter sections with support boats beside you. Afterward, we roll up our sleeves for a hands-on Umbrian cooking session, followed by a long, laughter-filled lunch. The evening brings something truly special: a candlelit dinner in the hilltop village of Labro, where prosecco flows and sunset views over the castle stay with you forever.
Day 5 –
We begin with one final Italian adventure โ rafting and wild swimming along the Velino River, guided by local experts through rapids and calm waters alike. After a joyful riverside lunch, the afternoon slows for rest and reflection. As the sun sets, we gather at award-winning Cantina Le Macchie for a private vineyard tour and farewell dinner among the vines โ a final toast to connection, adventure, and la dolce vita.
Day 6 –
Our final morning begins gently with a light villa breakfast before check-out. A group transfer will return us to Rome Fiumicino Airport, arriving by 11am for forward travel. Guests depart rested, renewed, and full of memories.
For those wishing to extend their adventure, an optional two-night Tuscan Sea Swim Retreat is available. This intimate add-on blends countryside living with Mediterranean swims

Day 6 โ Island Arrival: Prosecco by the Sea
We wave goodbye to Rome-bound friends and head south, where hills fall into sea. After a light lunch in Porto Santo Stefano, we ferry across to Isola del Giglio โ all cliffs, coves, and crystal-clear water.
By afternoon, we arrive at Le Poste di Simplicio, where the sea is just steps from your room. Choose a short dip or swim up to 2.5km along the rugged coast, then unwind with prosecco at sunset and a candlelit dinner under the stars โ island life begins.
Day 7 โ
After a light breakfast, we follow a coastal path from Campese to the dramatic Faraglione cliffs โ where turquoise waters meet open sky. Swim the 3km back if you wish, or walk and watch the sea sparkle below.
Lunch is rustic and slow, followed by a gentle reef swim, exploring marine life in warm, shallow waters.
